Sonoma County Food

Sonoma County FoodStarting this past weekend, the concession stand at Spring Lake’s swimming lagoon will be open daily, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I am happy to call Lakeside Grill one of my latest Sonoma County clients, and had the pleasure of running the public relations and social media marketing efforts for the grand opening this past weekend.

Local restaurateur, Nino Rabbaa (Sonoma County Hospitality Group, Rendez Vous Bistro, Chez Vous Catering and Flipside Bar & Burger) and Sonoma County Regional Parks partnered to update the concession stand at the Spring Lake lagoon. The new Lakeside Grill is part of a larger strategy to boost visitation to Spring Lake — now at about 600,000 people a year — so the regional park can continue operating for many years to come.

“Spring Lake is a community park for all of Sonoma County. Visitors come to jog around the lake, hike in Annadel, swim in the Spring Lake lagoon with their families, picnic and enjoy many of the Sonoma County Regional Park’s nature classes. Lakeside Grill hopes to provide an affordable culinary experience for everyone who visits, so every family can celebrate nature and good food. – Nino Rabbaa

Free Wifi will be provided for those who want to work from the patio with a cup of illy fresh-brewed coffee, for those who want to lounge with a glass of wine and read from their iPads or Kindle while letting their kids enjoy the swimming area, or for those who simply want to be inspired by nature.

Boat Dock Rentals and Spring Lake Lagoon swimming accessories will be sold from the concession stand as well. Paddle boats, kayaks, row boats, bikes and tubes will be available for visitors all day.

Lakeside Grill will also be available for local non-profits and groups who want to host fundraising events, birthdays, or other events on the patio.
