I found this series of tweets in a blog post called, The LA Kings Out-Office Rainn WilsonMy Food Looks Funny is a humorous food blog with funny pictures that has provided hours of laughs for me when I am in need of some food inspiration.

In addition to making me laugh, these tweets are also a good case study for connecting with influencers via social media.  Rainn Wilson has over 3 million Twitter followers and a Klout score of 78, so I understand he is a special case….

But the idea still holds true – Respond to customers who are talking to you via social media.   

This doesn’t mean you need to spend all day on Twitter, Facebook, etc. But checking out who is leaving posts on your Facebook page or tweeting you (both @ mentions as well as through a search for your brand’s name) at least once or twice a day, you will be able to respond to potential customers who are reaching out and looking for an authentic response.
