Sheana Davis, the well-known and widely admired cheesemaker who owns the specialty food-and-wine shop The Epicurean Connection in Sonoma, has been battling esophagus and stomach issues for the past five years. Multiple surgeries and other treatments have led to a crushing weight of medical bills.
On Sunday, Oct, 13, her friends are hosting a fundraiser in Sonoma in the courtyard of the Maysonnave House, at 291 First Street East, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.
Tickets for the event, which includes food, wine, a silent auction and raffle, are $50 per person and are available at Readers‘ Books, 30 East Napa St., Sonoma, and at the door.
Sheana’s friends have also created sites where donations can be made:
The fundraising goal from all sources is $45,000. Davis, who has had to delay medical treatment until she can gather the funds, says she is humbled by the outpouring of support.
