just over a year.

My blog started off as a project just so I can familiarize myself with the “art” of blogging so I could blog for my company Hamilton Partners.  Now over a year later it has become so much more.  Although I am sure no one is even reading this, my blog has become a good way for me to remind myself about different campaigns or ideas that are truly important and influential to me.

Since the main part of my job is to collect stratgetic ideas to help the creatives and account team come up with great marketing ideas, this blog has served as the perfect outlet for my random thoughts.

Though, I do not recommend going back too many pages on my blog unless you want to see how far I have come and how much has changed, here is my first post and then even better my third post about how much I hate Twitter (btw, I am now completely addicted, so please follow me here)

spring is here.

Below is Clos du Bois’ new spring in-store POS that was created by Hamilton Partners. In addition to their witty, vibrant POS Clos du Bois also created a mirosite called ToastToMom.com. It is exciting way to celebrate moms and good friends everywhere in an effort to raise $25,000 for women living with heart disease.

Clos du Bois will donate $1 to WomenHeart for every e-toast sent.

into the dark.

This past Saturday night was my coworker/friend Emmanuel Mota’s photography show at the Flying Goat Coffee in Healdsburg, CA. His black and white photography will be up for three weeks, if anyone hasn’t had a chance to go over there, I suggest you go take a look!

Saturday night had a huge turn-out, with music, Clos du Bois wine and a good portion of Healdsburg’s twenty something crowd. It was a great night with fun, continuing on till the next day, with pizza, more wine and lazy hammocking to be had. All and all, an amazing weekend in Sonoma County.

Ze Color Wars have officially started

Zefrank announced that the first game in the Twitter Color Wars is Roshambo, or “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. I have submitted 8 different photos via Flickr, representing the Blue Team.

The rules state that:

Tuesday evening a bracket style RoShamBo tournament will be held. Best of three RSB, winner moves on…

We will see how this turns out, for now, it is fun to watch how many people are getting excited, and how many people Gary V. has been able to recruit, just based on his Tweets and wonderfully excessive videos about the Very Green Team on his website. My entertainment also lies in my newly found competition between myself and KG against fellow Hamilton Partners Tim and Pete.

And yes, my series for Scissors involves a Peep’s head being cut off, one might call it a metaphor of what could happen to the opposing teams.
